Hi there, I’m glad you found me! I’m an Illustrator of editorial, comic, and educational material. I work in a mix of hand drawn, digital, and collage. My favorite things to draw are contraptions, fossils, creatures, sea life, ideas, portraits, and characters of all kind. I’ve worked on animations, textbooks, comics, children’s books, fiction and memoirs. I even painted an octopus on a brick wall once! I also make greeting cards, pins & jewelry, apparel, and accessories based on my looney drawings: pencilislandcanteen.etsy.com
I believe in the power and joy of drawing in all forms - be it analog, digital, pointed stick dipped in ink (technically that is analog…) or scrawls in the sand with a seashell (again, analog but whatever). Everyone should do it. I studied art at Cooper Union and live & work in Queens, NY, where I keep a close eye on the Empire State Building. I am always on the lookout for a new color.
